About Me

Hello there!
My name is Daniel, also known as The Autistic Yo-Yo Man. I was born in April 2006 and diagnosed with autism at the age of three. I was non-verbal until discovering yo-yos in primary school, which helped me begin communicating and eventually speaking English.
I started yo-yoing in Year 2 with basic tricks like Rock the Baby, and by Year 7 I was learning more advanced tricks. Through years of practice, I developed into a professional yo-yo player.
I run an online store called The Autistic Yoyo Man’s Yo-Yo Shop, where I sell yo-yos from brands such as YoyoFactory, Duncan, and MagicYoyo. I have also hosted yo-yo meets in the Hunter Region (Maitland/Newcastle) and am a well-known autistic yo-yo player based in Maitland.
Alongside yo-yoing, I provide graphic design services and have been drumming for bands since Year 10, performing in school events, School of Rock, and Bandwidth at Hunter School of the Performing Arts.

One of my dream careers in my life is being a true Graphic-Designer. I would love to have a future Graphic Designer job at a local Design company, maybe around Maitland or Newcastle since i live in a Maitland suburb
